You will learn basic skills to communicate with Deaf and Hard of Hearing people in Auslan on a range of topics that involve simple, everyday language.

The community course is easy, fun, informal and relaxed and is delivered face to face. More details

Cost = $70 (to attend all 4 sessions)

Harbour City Bears ran its first ever Paint & Sip event hosted by Paint Splice Studios in Alexandria this past Saturday 21st October. 

We had a very special guest, modelling for us, Mr Gabe Woods with about 30 persons in attendance!  We look forward to hosting  another event in the new year with another special guest!

Thanks to the team at Paint Splice for looking after us all today and to Gabe for generously providing his time.

Harbour City Bears attended the 15th Annual Parramatta Pride Picnic with a stall to talk with people and distribute information about who we are and what we do.  Sooooooo many people stopped by our giant bear and took selfies.  Some people ate their lunch in its shadow. It was definitely the most popular spot at the picnic after the MainStage and bar!

Thanks to all who helped out one the day and stopped by to say hi!  The weather was perfect.  The spot serene.  Parramatta can be very proud of its LGBTIQA+ community.

It was good to meet up with Thomas James Seggie on Friday evening at KINK FURRY FRIDAY @ THE OXFORD to discuss the Polished Men campaign.
We have painted our finger-nails blue to show we are fundraising to help end violence to women and children, and support those in trauma from domestic violence. Help us create a safer world for women and children.
